A bid request sent to Commerce Grid from a media supplier that can be purchased by a Buyer and render an ad impression if won
- Average Supply Bid CPM¶
The ratio between the sum of yes bid values of Commerce Grid to media suppliers for the chosen Supply and the number of yes bid responses sent from The MediaGrid to media suppliers with the chosen Supply Deal
- Average Win Rate¶
The ratio between the number of impressions being sent to Commerce Grid and the number of yes bid responses sent by Commerce Grid to media suppliers
- Bid¶
A monetary value received from the DSP on a given real-time impression opportunity (i.e. the maximum price they’re willing to pay)
- Buyer¶
A business entity using one or more DSP(s) to purchase digital advertising through Commerce Grid
- Commerce Grid¶
A supply curation and management platform, built and operated by IPONWEB
- Commerce Grid Data Platform¶
Platform that let Data Curators activate their data sets, use it for bid requests enrichment and virtual supply deals creation.
- Curation Fee¶
A fee paid to the Curator on top of negotiated Supply Deals for supply curation and management services
- Curator¶
A client of Commerce Grid facilitating various inventory curation scenarios to fulfill their business objectives or advertising campaigns through the platform
- Data Curator¶
Data owners working with Commerce Grid Data platform, that let them activate their data sets, use it for bid requests enrichment and virtual supply deals creation.
- Deal ID¶
A unique, alpha-numerical string of an automated ad buy that is used to match buyers and sellers individually, based on agreed-upon terms like minimum price the DSP is allowed to bid, type of ad unit, viewability threshold, etc. The deal allows the buyer to access the seller’s inventory.
- Deal Name¶
User-generated name of a deal; this name does not affect actual trading and is used for descriptive purposes only
- Demand Deal ID¶
A new deal ID created automatically by Commerce Grid as a result of combining several Supply Deals. This Deal ID is shared with DSPs to setup a live campaign in their own system.
- Detected Floor¶
Bid floor value for the chosen Supply Deal included in bid requests from SSPs to Commerce Grid. If there are bid requests coming in with different bid floors for the chosen Supply Deal, their values will be displayed in the troubleshooting table.
- DSP Bid Rate¶
The ratio between the number of yes bid responses received by Commerce Grid from DSPs, and the number of bid requests sent by Commerce Grid to DSPs.
- DSP Media Cost¶
The cumulative media cost (calculated in USD) for impressions purchased through a chosen Demand Deal sent from Commerce Grid to a DSP
- DSP Seat¶
DSP seat which will be listed in bid requests coming from Commerce Grid for a specific Demand Deal ID. The outgoing bid request will be intended for the specified DSP seat. Only one DSP seat is permitted per demand deal.
- Dynamic supply deals¶
A supply deal without a fixed ploor price.
- Fill rate¶
The ratio between the number of impressions for the chosen Supply Deal and the number of bid requests coming into Commerce Grid for that same Supply Deal.
- Floor CPM¶
The bid floor value the curator expects to receive from the SSP for a chosen Supply Deal. The Floor CPM value is taken as a default value for Supply Bid when the Supply Deal is imported into Commerce Grid. After the initial upload is complete, the Floor CPM does not affect actual trading.

A number of ad impressions purchased and registered by Commerce Grid
- Infrastructure Fee¶
A fee paid to Commerce Grid for services and hardware required to operate the Curation Platform
- Package¶
One or more Supply Deals that can run on one or more seats. Packages are used as a way to bundle and route inventory to one or more buyers. Creating a package automatically creates one demand seal per seat in the package.
- Seat / Seat ID¶
A buyer’s ID with a DSP, per their commercial agreement. One buyer can have any number of seats across any number of DSPs. Commerce Grid uses Seat IDs for deal routing.
- Suggested Campaign Bid¶
The suggested minimum price a buyer should input for a campaign targeting a specific Demand Deal ID.
- Supply Bid¶
A bid amount sent in Yes-bid responses from Commerce Grid to the SSP. This value will be sent to the SSP from Commerce Grid as a Yes-bid amount for the Supply Deal regardless of bid values coming from DSPs. When a Supply Deal is imported to Commerce Grid UI, the Supply Bid Value is set to its floor CPM, as described in the Supply Deal import
.xlsfile. The curator can change the Supply Bid in Commerce Grid UI. Supply Bid is ignored for dynamic deals.- Supply Deal ID¶
A Deal ID established by a Curator with a publisher or an inventory bundle created by Commerce Grid for the Curator.
- Supply Media Cost¶
The cumulative media cost (calculated in USD) communicated to Commerce Grid from an SSP or publisher on impressions sold as part of a specific Demand Deal.
- Supply Media eCPM¶
The ratio between the sum of impression prices for the chosen supply deal arriving to Commerce Grid and the number of impressions for the chosen supply deal.
- Virtual Supply Deal¶
A supply deal created by Data Curator via Commerce Grid Data platform. Virtual Supply Deals are packed from open rtb traffic according to targetings (segments, geo, etc.) provided by Data Curators. These Supply Deals don’t negotiate with Publisher or SSP.
- Win rate¶
The ratio between the number of impressions for a chosen Supply Deal and the number of Yes-bid responses sent by Commerce Grid to media suppliers.
- Yes-bids¶
A number of positive bid responses sent from Commerce Grid to media suppliers
